Over the weekend, as part of an activity by Border Police fighters in Hebron, riots developed near the Border Police post in the Cave of the Patriarchs.
During the riots, a number of Palestinian rioters threw stones at the fighters. During the disturbance, documentation and indictment of suspects was carried out.
In a quick operation, a force of Judea and Samaria border fighters entered the riot zone and settled in an ambush that led to the “on hot” arrest of a suspect who threw stones at the post and the fighters.
Later, another suspect who threw stones as part of the same disturbance, was also arrested on indictment and a description of clothing by our fighters at a checkpoint.
Meanwhile, IDF and GSS forces operated during the night in the village of Beit Fager in the area of the Etzion Regional Brigade and arrested a wanted man suspected of involvement in terrorist activities. The suspect was transferred for further investigation by the security forces.
