Genesis Invests $25,000 in Southern Nevada Youth Through Arts and STEAM Initiatives
Genesis and the Genesis Inspiration Foundation are bolstering their commitment to youth development in Southern Nevada with a $25,000 donation to Positively Arts and a hands-on STEAM workshop for middle school students. The initiatives, announced February 11, 2026, underscore the brand’s dedication to fostering creativity and innovation in under-resourced communities.
Expanding Access to Arts Education
The Genesis Inspiration Foundation’s $25,000 grant will directly benefit Positively Arts, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering youth through the transformative power of the arts. Since 2014, Positively Arts has impacted over 20,000 children through mentorship programs and awarded more than $200,000 in scholarships to over 10,000 low-income and at-risk children in Southern Nevada. This latest contribution will enable the organization to expand its programming, providing vital tools, positive outlets, and community support to help young people thrive.
“Every student deserves access to creative learning opportunities,” stated Brandon Ramirez, director of corporate social responsibility at Genesis Motor America and a board member of the Genesis Inspiration Foundation. “By investing in STEAM programming across Southern Nevada, we’re encouraging young people to embrace their imagination and discover what’s possible for their future.”
Hands-On STEAM Workshop Inspires Future Innovators
In addition to the financial contribution, Genesis Gives, the corporate social responsibility initiative of Genesis Motor America, organized a STEAM workshop at the Donald W. Reynolds Boys & Girls Club of Southern Nevada. More than 40 middle school students participated in the workshop, gaining insights into the automotive industry and the product development process.
Students had the opportunity to interact with a Genesis GV60 and, leveraging their creativity, designed and built their own future mobility vehicles using upcycled materials. The workshop, conducted in partnership with Child Creativity Lab, aimed to turn imagination into tangible innovation.
Genesis Gives: A Broader Commitment to Community
Genesis Gives represents a significant investment in communities across the country. Since 2022, the initiative has donated over $2 million to support youth sports and STEAM education programs in under-resourced areas. The program builds upon Genesis’ commitment to performance and design, aiming to improve access and outcomes for young people.
