The Argentina Open 2026 has finalized its quarterfinal lineup, with eight players set to compete for a spot in the semifinals beginning on Sunday, February 15, at the Court Guillermo Vilas of the Buenos Aires Lawn Tennis Club.
The tournament’s opening matches on February 15 will feature Tomas Etcheverry (ranked 54th in the world) against Alejandro Tabilo (71st), the Chilean who upset defending champion Joao Fonseca in what was considered the best match of the tournament so far. Following that, Francisco Cerúndolo (19th), the top seed, will face Czech player Vit Kopriva (95th), who surprised many by eliminating Matteo Berrettini.
The night session will showcase Argentina’s top player, Sebastian Baez (34th and fourth seed), against Camilo Ugo Carabelli (47th and sixth). Closing out the quarterfinals will be Italian challenger Luciano Darderi (22nd), who has reached his best stage in Buenos Aires after reaching the second round in 2024 and the first round in 2025, against Spain’s Pedro Martínez (94th).
