February 2026 Gaming Lineup: Spider-Man 2 Headlines PlayStation Plus, Epic Games Store Offers Free Titles

A robust month for gamers is on the horizon, with PlayStation Plus delivering a blockbuster title and expanding its classic game offerings, while the Epic Games Store is set to offer a wealth of free games and add-ons to PC players. February 2026 promises significant value for subscribers and free-to-play enthusiasts alike.

PlayStation Plus Expands with AAA Titles and Classics

PlayStation unveiled its February 2026 lineup during a recent State of Play presentation, highlighting substantial additions to the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog for both Extra and Premium members. The centerpiece of the update is the arrival of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, a critically acclaimed title originally released in 2023 by Insomniac Games.

“This is a major addition to the service for subscribers who missed it at launch,” one analyst noted, emphasizing the game’s popularity and visual fidelity. Available to Extra and Premium members starting February 17, 2026, Spider-Man 2 expands on the established formula with dual playable characters – Peter Parker and Miles Morales – alongside new villains like Kraven the Hunter and Venom.

Beyond the blockbuster addition, PlayStation is bolstering its library of classic titles for Premium members. Tekken Dark Resurrection will be added in March 2026, followed by Time Crisis in May 2026. Notably, Time Crisis will leverage the DualSense controller’s gyroscopic aiming capabilities to recreate the immersive experience of arcade light gun games.

Day-One Access and Monthly Games for All PS Plus Tiers

PlayStation is also offering day-one access to new releases for all subscription tiers. Big Walk, a cooperative multiplayer adventure, will launch directly into PlayStation Plus across Essential, Extra, and Premium, ensuring all subscribers can enjoy the title upon release in 2026.

Throughout February, all PlayStation Plus subscribers can claim the following titles through March 2:

  • Undisputed
  • Subnautica: Below Zero
  • Ultros
  • Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown

PC Gamers Score Freebies on the Epic Games Store

While PlayStation focuses on subscription benefits, PC gamers are set to benefit from a series of free games and add-ons available through the Epic Games Store.

From February 12–19, 2026, users can claim:

  • Nobody Wants to Die (valued at $24.99) – A tech-noir sci-fi detective game.
