by time news

festival Tel Aviv Eat Produced by the Tel Aviv-Yafo Municipality, we are once again fulfilling all our chubby food dreams. Dozens of stalls will be set up in the Charles Clore Garden from today (Monday) through Thursday and will offer chef dishes and upgraded street food, at a price that usually buys not much more than falafel. We have collected for you five stalls that are really a shame to miss, plus a warm recommendation to arrive early to taste as much as possible, and to avoid the hustle and bustle.

1. Aharoni’s Burger

In preparation for the first out-of-town branch of the butchers from Sheinkin and Oppenheimer, the Israeli chef of all will present at the festival three winning dishes: an Israeli beef burger with the holy trinity of lettuce-tomato-pickle, and with Gouda to choose from; Crispy chicken bites in Asian glaze with aioli srircha; And Dutch chips. You do not need more than that.

2. Gyrus and wings of Haim Cohen

Another master chef coming out of the screen into reality. At the stand of the Jaffa Tel Aviv restaurant, you can get pita with chicken gyros, herbs and tahini or with long-cooked beef stew, and sip on crack pie and “Haim Cohen’s knapsack.” The stand of the veteran and beloved Dixie will serve home fries, chicken wings and other mythological dishes. On his way from one stand to another try to catch Cohen for a selfie.

If you have not yet visited the ‘Ole’ restaurant, at the festival you can taste first of all dishes by Chef Oren Asido: lamb neck kataif, facial and arisa parts and fish and pickled lemon cigars. And yes, he’s even cuter than you remembered from Big Brother.
