Metro line M3 Is a semi-ring line that connects the metro lines and other mass transit lines in the Gush Dan metropolitan area, and creates a perimeter network structure with a total length of approximately 39 km. The line is divided into a main line and a branch to Ben Gurion Airport. 25 stations will be built along it.

Route of the M3 line Passes through Bat Yam, Holon, Azor, Or Yehuda, Kiryat Ono, Petah Tikva, Givat Shmuel, Tel Aviv-Yafo, Ramat Hasharon, Herzliya, Ramat Gan. The line is expected to serve major industrial and employment centers such as the Herzliya IDF, the Ramat Hachayal IDF, the Kiryat Aryeh IDF and Tel Hashomer Hospital.

Both programs were promoted in the National Infrastructure Committee in the Planning Administration. Two additional lines (M1N, M2) are still in the advanced statutory planning process and will be brought for government approval upon completion. In parallel with the planning, Nata is preparing for the chain’s implementation process through huge tenders that will integrate Israeli and international companies.

The metro route and the location of its stations have been designed in a way that takes into account additional transportation systems: Israel Railways, the light rail (Dunkel), bus lines and more. The three metro lines in the Tel Aviv metropolitan area will operate as a subway, which will provide a solution in 24 different local authorities from Rehovot to Raanana.

The Metro project is the largest infrastructure project currently being promoted in the State of Israel and is expected to be completed in 2040.
