A 71-year-old man was recently (Monday) found in a refrigerator in a supermarket in Bnei Brak. MDA medics and paramedics along with paramedics from the Rescue Union provided him with primary medical assistance and he was rushed to the hospital with signs of an anxiety attack in a mild condition, conscious and without cold injuries.

Amitai Yechiel, a paramedic from the Rescue Union, said: “According to the workers at the scene, he was in the refrigerator for several minutes after being locked inside during his work. One of the workers encountered him when he opened the refrigerator and called the rescue forces. With the help of other medics, I gave him initial assistance and then he turned to Beilinson Medical Center. ”

Police officers arrived at the scene of the incident, are investigating the circumstances and a report has been forwarded to the Ministry of Labor.
