Albanese sworn in as Australian Prime Minister – Dinakaran

Canberra: Australia’s new Prime Minister Anthony Albanese was sworn in yesterday. At the end of the vote count, the Albanese-led Labor Party took power. Anthony Albanese (59) was subsequently elected the new Prime Minister. He became the Prime Minister of the country at the Government House in Canberra.

Anthony Albanese is from New South Wales. Elected Member of the Australian Parliament in 1996. Subsequently the Minister has taken care of various responsibilities including their leader. As the 31st Prime Minister of Australia, he left for Tokyo yesterday by private plane to attend the Quad Summit.
