Pharmaceutical company Moderna is currently testing potential vaccines against monkeypox. To be clear, this is still a very early phase in the testing process.
The World Health Organization has already identified 250 cases of monkey pox in 16 different countries. Moderna, also one of the big names in corona vaccines, therefore reports that it is currently testing vaccines against the virus. Those vaccines are still in the preclinical phase, which means that general research is still being done and that they are not yet tested on humans.
