Sharjah: Sharjah Charity International (SCI) to focus more on the health sector. New camps will be started as part of this. SCI officials said that even before the Kovid epidemic, with the support of government and private institutions, several medical camps were set up targeting various sections of the society. Medical camps provide all the usual medical check-ups like blood pressure, diabetes, gynecology, dentistry, osteoporosis, vision and internal problems. Authorities said they were able to secure services for more than 8,000 patients. SCI Director Hamad Khalifa Al Kaabi said that with the assistance and cooperation of the Ministry of Health and Defense, SCI has made significant progress in the number of medical camps opened in various parts of the Emirate of Sharjah.
