The price of gold has been volatile in recent times. In Chennai, 22 carat jewelery gold fell by Rs 112 to Rs 38,584 per ounce.
Silver prices rise
Similarly, 22 carat jewelery gold fell by Rs 14 per gram to Rs 4,823 per gram. Also, the price of a gram of silver rose by 70 rupees to Rs 65.80 a gram and a kilo of silver to Rs 65,800.
