Kamal Haasan says it is gratifying that fans are eager to see the film in which he has acted after a gap of four years.
He mentioned in a recent interview that he was grateful to the audience for this.
“They are asking about the division of Indian cinema into North and South. I always see myself as an Indian. I can be comfortable in any part of India. This is the beauty of a diverse India.
“I know the talents in the North and the South. Do not separate them. Films made all over India can be taken globally and added.
“It simply came to our notice then. It should not last anymore. The filmmakers will take care of taking Indian cinema to the world stage. The government should not interfere in this, ”said Kamal Haasan. The movie ‘Vikram’ starring him will be released on June 3.
