EUGENE, Ore. – The San José State men’s golf team concluded competition at The Duck Invitational on Tuesday, securing a seventh-place finish in a challenging 15-team field at the historic Eugene Country Club. The Spartans finished with a combined score of 878 (+26), a result built on consistent play from senior golfers Ivan Barahona and Avinash Iyer. Their performance at the tournament, which wrapped up play on April 23rd, signals continued progress for the program as they head into the final stretch of the spring season.
The invitational, known for its competitive field and demanding course, provided a valuable test for San José State. Leading the Spartan Charge

Xuan Luo finished the tournament after carding an 80 (+9) on the final day, while Christian Maggard rounded out the Spartan effort, finishing in 82nd place as an individual.
