Bnei Sakhnin players disappointed (Hagai Michaeli)
Acting CEO of Toto, Meir Bardugo, Decided to fine the manager NIS 200,000 following the cancellation of Bnei Sakhnin’s game against Maccabi Haifa, when the payment will be borne by the club from the sector. Bardugo, sent a letter to the principal stating that the cancellation of the meeting was a violation of the agreement between the council and the principal and the Football Association.
The actual CEO of Toto wrote: “In view of the fact that violating this clause in the agreement requires reduction and in light of the damage and financial and image damage, we expect the teams to clarify the severity of canceling a game in the league and the severe damage.”
So far, Sakhnin has been fined NIS 250,000 by the principal, NIS 100,000 by the association and together with the current fine the total amount has risen to NIS 550,000, with more lawsuits against the club on the way.
