There are more guns in the United States than people, and it is not clear whether the United States floats on guns – Archbishop of Chicago Cardinal Blase Cupich

Pope Francis has called for a halt to the May 25 mass cryptocurrency, saying that the arms trade, which has so far taken place without concern for the welfare of human society, should not continue.

On Tuesday, May 24, 19 children and two teachers were killed when an 18-year-old man opened fire on Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas. The Pope said that he was heartbroken to hear that the lives of innocent people had been taken away and that he prayed to God for the children, adults and their families who were killed in this manner and that we would dedicate ourselves to prevent such atrocities from ever taking place.

The Spanish school is said to have about 500 children between the ages of seven and ten.

Meanwhile, reports say that the perpetrator was Salvador Ramos, a young man who shot and killed his grandmother at the school before the shooting and that the young man was killed by law enforcement officers after the shooting at the school.

Chicago Cardinal Cupich condemned them

Cardinal Blase Cupich, Archbishop of Chicago, also condemned the violence, saying “there are more guns than people in the United States and it is not clear if the United States is floating around with guns.” Cardinal Cupich said the young man who opened fire at the school was in possession of a firearm without proper permission.

There have been eight of the deadliest shootings in schools in the United States so far. More than 140 children and adults were killed.
