Ray Liotta, actor of ‘One of us’, dies at 67

The actor Ray Liotta, protagonist of the mafia movie classic ‘One of Ours’by Martin Scorsese, has died at the age of 67. According to the portal ‘Deadline’, the 67-year-old interpreter was in the middle of filming the movie ‘Dangerous waters’, in the Dominican Republic, and passed away in his sleep.

His first big role came in 1986, with the Jonathan Demme film ‘Something Wild’, for which he would be nominated for the Golden Globe for best supporting actor for his portrayal of the villain Ray Sinclair. From here, Liotta’s offers would multiply and he would take part in the cinematographic portrait of the gangster Henry Hill ‘One of Ours’ (1990), together with Robert De Niro and Joe Pesci. Liotta was characterized by playing dark, cold and cynical characterslike the psychopathic policeman in ‘False Seduction’ (1992), which he played with Kurt Russell and Madeleine Stowe.
