Citi Union Bank; Net profit at Rs 760 crore

Chennai: Citi Union Bank’s net profit rose 28 per cent to Rs 760 crore in FY2021-21. 88 thousand 846 crore.
This was 81 thousand 558 crore rupees in the financial year 2020-21. The total loan disbursed by the bank grew by 11 per cent to 41 thousand 156 crore rupees. It was Rs 37,021 crore in the previous year. The bank’s deposits rose 7 per cent to Rs 47,690 crore. It was Rs 44,537 crore in the previous year. The bank’s net profit grew by 28 per cent to Rs 760 crore.

The bank’s operating profit rose 9 per cent to Rs 1,595 crore from Rs 1,468 crore in the year-ago period. The bank’s interest income rose 8 per cent to Rs 1,050 crore. The bank’s net bad credit has fallen to 2.95 per cent from 2.97 per cent.
