About 2,500 residents of their halt moving into a new home

About 2,500 residents in the Tanglin Halt area have received a new home key located in the nearby Dawson area.

It is Singapore’s largest overall public redevelopment project.

Three of the four victims chose the Dawson area home near Queenstown train station.

Thirty-one blocks in their Holt area were selected for the overall redevelopment project called SERS.

A joint selection program was also offered to help those who have lived in the neighborhood for many years continue to live in the neighborhood.

About 17 percent of households choose the program,
They got old friends in the new place and in the neighborhood.

Their halt houses are near the Commonwealth train station.

Those apartment houses that are sixty years old will be demolished.
