An ultra-Orthodox girl who was today (Monday) on a walk in an amusement park in Mevo Beitar overturned with the cart that was hitched to a tractor, and some were injured as a result of the overturn. Police have opened an investigation.

One girl, about nine years old, was moderately injured and nine other girls were lightly injured. The girls probably received first aid and were later evacuated to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem.

Shmuel Bernstein, a paramedic from the Rescue Union who provided first aid at the scene, said: “I was near the scene and was told about a vehicle that overturned. When I arrived at the scene, I came across a reversing stroller. One 9-year-old girl was moderately injured and nine other girls were lightly injured.”

Avi Sofer, another paramedic from the Rescue Union, said: “After the initial assistance we provided to them at the scene, the girls were evacuated in full consciousness to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem, suffering from injuries, injuries and cuts to their limbs.”

MDA reported that a report had been received of a cart hitched to a tractor overturned near the Beitar entrance.

Police began investigating the circumstances of the accident and said the accident was “at an amusement park at Introduction Beitar, involving an ATV with a cart that was driving children, lost control and overturned.”
