Al-Hilal has agreed to a deal with West Ham United to sign 24-year-old winger Crysencio Summerville for a total package worth just over €70m.
The move marks a significant financial windfall for West Ham, who are aggressively offloading talent to stabilize their books after dropping out of the Premier League at the end of the 2025-2026 season. Summerville is expected to undergo a medical before signing a long-term contract with the Saudi Pro League side, pending final authorizations.

While several outlets report the deal’s value, there are slight variations in the reported figures. However, other reports place the valuation higher; OneFootball and journalist David Ornstein via Football365 suggest the deal could be worth approximately €80 million.

Al-Hilal’s ability to move quickly and offer a superior package effectively ended a bidding war involving several European giants.
Manchester United also explored a move for the Dutch international, though their pursuit was stalled by internal squad dynamics. Fabrizio Romano clarified that the Red Devils were not advancing for any winger until a decision was made regarding Marcus Rashford’s position in the squad.

Despite only making his international debut in a June friendly, he appeared in four tournament matches, contributing two goals and two assists. At the club level, Summerville joined West Ham from Leeds United in 2024. Over two seasons in east London, he featured 56 times.
