Rockstar Games has confirmed that an upcoming showcase titled Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look
will premiere globally through an unprecedented partnership with streaming giant The Hollywood Reporter. According to IGN, the special event showcase will air on Thursday, August 27, marking the first time a major video game trailer has debuted on the platform. The broadcast is scheduled to go live for Netflix subscribers at 12 p.m. Pacific / 3 p.m. Eastern / 8 p.m. UK time.

For viewers without a Netflix subscription, GameSpot reports that the exact same showcase will become available to watch six hours later on Rockstar Games’ official channels, including the studio’s YouTube channel and official website, at 6 p.m. Pacific / 9 p.m. Eastern. Netflix subscribers can already set an alert for the programme via a dedicated event page.
Brandon Riegg, Netflix’s vice president of nonfiction series, highlighted the significance of the collaboration. Grand Theft Auto reveals have become cultural moments in their own right,
