Wall Street signs also fell last night. Investors are worried about the Federal Reserve’s position on rising inflation and rising interest rates. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.67 percent. The S&P 500 index was down 0.63 percent. The Nasdaq index was down 0.41 percent. Along with this, the SGX Nifty also lost 24 points.

At 12.15 pm, the BSE Sensex was up 0.08 per cent at 55,610. In the Sensex, NTPC, HDFC and Tata Steel saw gains. Shares of Nestle India, Tech Mahindra and Sun Pharma also declined. BSE Mid Cap rises 0.17% Is at 23,183 points. The small-cap index was up 0.78 percent. Is at 26,576 points.

According to the Nifty index, it is trading at 16,580 points. Of these, JSW Steel, NTPC and Coal India gained. Shares of Bajaj Auto, Hindalco Industries and Apollo Hospitals also fell. In terms of sectoral codes, most are at a loss. BSEMetal and BSE Energy work well.

Some penny stocks are in the upper circuit even as the market moves amidst profit losses.
