Puducherry: Beneficiaries have complained that the flats built by the Puducherry Housing Board are damaged and in a dangerous condition. More than 200 houses were completed and handed over to the beneficiaries in 2012 during the Independence Day celebrations in the city. Even after the beneficiaries have paid the full amount for the house built by the government. The bond for the home has not yet been issued. Beneficiaries said it would ask for extra money for public houses that appealed.
