Johan de Vos realized that the many asbestos victims had to be given a voice and that is why he founded vzw together with Veerle Deloof, Eric Windey and Hugo De Blende Stoff. “We interview asbestos victims and those involved in the Waasland, record interviews with them, collect photos and type everything out with the intention of archiving everything and preserving it for later generations, because the asbestos drama with the many victims should never be forgotten”.
