Panaji: Goa police have arrested a 50 – year – old man for allegedly molesting a 14 – year – old girl in North Goa. The incident took place on Monday night. Police have registered a case under IPC 376, Poxo and the Goa Children’s Act 2003. The girl’s mother was also arrested for allegedly collaborating with a fake witch to molest her daughter.
The case was registered on a complaint filed by the girl’s father. The girl was allegedly tortured after being brought home on the pretext that all her desires in life could be fulfilled. The suspect was apprehended from a Kansas village, police said.
