She announced the decision in a long post she wrote on her Facebook account: “Today, I update that I decided to leave Meta after 14 years. When I first met Mark, I was not looking for a new job and did not think the meeting would change my life. I was introduced to him, and then he told me about the vision “He talked about Facebook and we talked for hours. After several months and countless meetings, he offered me the job.”
“Sitting next to Mark Zuckerberg for 14 years was a once-in-a-lifetime honor and privilege for me. Mark is a visionary and caring leader. Does he sometimes say we grew up together? Mark Zuckerberg himself responded to her retirement and posted his own message: “This is the end of an era. For the past 14 years we have worked together. You have been our architect.
