This marks the first time a Galaxy Buds product has received the honor, validating the wireless earbuds’ dual-driver hardware, adaptive noise-cancelling technology, and high-resolution audio performance.
The Expert Imaging and Sound Association, a prominent global body comprising technology publication editors from more than 25 countries, evaluates consumer electronics based on independent performance and innovation. For Samsung, securing this recognition with the Galaxy Buds4 Pro represents a milestone for its mobile audio engineering.
Dual-Driver Architecture and Hi-Fi Sound Performance
The core of the Galaxy Buds4 Pro audio system relies on a two-way speaker setup featuring independent amplifiers dedicated to separate frequency drivers. Samsung enlarged the woofer to boost effective speaker area by nearly 20% compared to the prior generation, pairing the wider component with a dedicated tweeter to handle mid and high ranges.
This hardware configuration reduces acoustic distortion across frequency bands while supporting 24-bit/96 kHz Ultra High Quality audio.

Adaptive Noise Control and Sensor Fusion Call Processing
Beyond music playback, the earbuds incorporate real-time Adaptive Active Noise Cancellation and an Adaptive Equalizer. The system analyzes wearing conditions and each user’s unique ear shape, adjusting noise filters and frequency balance on the fly to match individual ear shapes and wearing conditions.

For voice communication, the Super Clear Call feature pairs a Voice Pickup Unit with Deep Neural Network-powered noise reduction. This combination isolates the speaker’s voice from background environmental noise in crowded spaces.
Samsung developed the physical blade stem shape using data from millions of ear measurements and more than 10,000 simulations to create a stable fit, finishing the hardware with engraved pinch controls and an IP57 rating for water and dust resistance.
