Willemstad (Curaçao) topped Tokyo (Japan) 4-0 for the international title. Nevada and Curaçao will play for the LLWS championship on Sunday at 3 p.m. ET, while Ohio and Japan play for third place in the consolation game at 10 a.m. ET.
Mountain Region Versus Great Lakes Finals
Representing the Mountain Region, the Nevada squad decisively dismantled Hamilton, Ohio’s West Side Little League after exploding for a five-run second inning. A four-run fifth inning triggered the run rule, and Nevada wins the U.S. Championship. Nevada added six runs in the fourth and five innings, continuing a scoring landslide that finalized the 12-2 score. Though Hamilton West Side suffered a 12-2 defeat in the U.S. Finals of the Little League World Series, their tournament isn’t over yet, and West Side now gets to play Japan in the third place game, providing an opportunity for Hamilton’s first international victory.
Jaymiëll Martina Strikes Out 12 Batters for Curaçao
Earlier on Saturday, Curaçao booked its trip to the championship game with a 4-0 shutout over Tokyo, Japan. Curaçao claimed the LLWS international championship over Japan after pitcher Jaymiëll Martina struck out 12 batters in 5.2 innings of work Saturday. Japan loaded the bases in Saturday’s first inning, but Martina closed out a scoreless frame and allowed Curaçao to strike first with a three-run third. Martina capped off the game with an RBI double in the fourth to help Curaçao secure a trip to the LLWS championship game with a 4-0 shutout victory.

Thanks to dominant pitching, Curacao advanced. Jaymiell Martina shut down Japan’s lineup in the 2026 Little League World Series International Final on Saturday afternoon, pitching 5.2 scoreless innings with 12 strikeouts as Curacao claimed a 4-0 victory.
With the semifinal dust settled, Sunday’s slate features the final games of the tournament. The schedule includes the consolation game between Japan and the Mountain/Great Lakes loser at 10 a.m. on ESPN, and the championship game between Curaçao and the Mountain/Great Lakes winner at 3 p.m. on ABC.
