VITURE and S-GAME revealed the Phantom Beast XR glasses on August 27, 2026, at Gamescom’s Worlds of Play exhibition. Priced at $599 and launching on October 29 alongside Phantom Blade Zero, the limited-edition wearable features a 174-inch virtual screen, custom wuxia styling, and a sword-sheath carrying case.
A Kungfupunk Collaboration at Worlds of Play
The partnership brings together hardware manufacturer VITURE and game developer S-GAME, uniting traditional Chinese wuxia with punk fantasy aesthetics. Unveiled during an official hardware collaboration at Worlds of Play: The Game Art Exhibition, the Phantom Beast package is designed to mirror the visual identity of S-GAME’s upcoming action-RPG, Phantom Blade Zero.
Company leadership emphasized the personal connection behind the hardware development. This was personal for me. Wuxia is part of how I grew up, and Phantom Blade Zero honors that world in a way I’ve been waiting to see for a long time,
said David Jiang, founder of VITURE, via a press release distributed by Prnewswire. Jiang added that the project aimed to built a way for people who’ve never set foot in the Wulin to feel like they belong there.
The collaboration marks a notable milestone for the hardware maker. According to coverage by Prnewswire’s published release, Phantom Beast represents VITURE’s first partnership with a Chinese game studio. It also serves as the company’s second collaboration with a major AAA title, following the release of the Cyberpunk 2077 Luma Cyber XR Glasses.
Hardware Specifications and Display Technology
Beneath the themed exterior, the device maintains the core optical architecture of the standard Beast lineup. The system produces a virtual screen measuring 174 inches when viewed at a distance of four meters.

The display operates at a 120Hz refresh rate with a resolution of 1200p per eye and a peak brightness of 1,250 nits. Additional display features include a wide 58-degree field of view, nine levels of electrochromic dimming, built-in 3DoF spatial tracking via VisionPair technology, and HARMAN AudioEFX spatial sound. Users can switch between five display modes, including a 32:9 panoramic aspect ratio built for super-ultrawide PC gaming.
Connectivity options vary by platform. The glasses connect directly via USB-C for plug-and-play compatibility with Windows PCs, Macs, iOS and Android mobile devices, and the Steam Deck.
Custom Design, Packaging, and Collector Extras
S-GAME Game Director and Founder Soulframe noted that the collaboration brings stylized fantasy into real-world hardware. The cinematic scale and immersive experience of XR offer players a new way to step into the Wulin of Phantom Blade Zero and experience its world beyond the screen,
Soulframe stated in the official studio announcement.

The physical styling departs significantly from standard consumer electronics. Metal detailing on the temples is sculpted to resemble protagonist Soul’s blade, captured at the precise moment it clears its scabbard. The custom operating system menu has also been reskinned to match the interface elements of Phantom Blade Zero.
The carrying case functions as an extension of the weapon motif. Constructed as a triangular metal drawer wrapped in textured black leather, it slides open rather than flipping upward, revealing a crimson interior reminiscent of a blade catching light.
Pricing, Pre-Orders, and Launch Timeline
Pre-orders for the limited edition opened on August 27, 2026, priced at $599. They are available exclusively through the official VITURE store and the IGN Store, as reported by Android Headlines. While pre-orders are currently active, physical units will not ship until the official release date of October 29, 2026, coinciding directly with the launch of the video game.
Buyers who complete their pre-orders or purchases by November 5, 2026, qualify for an additional incentive: a physical game map designed to resemble a traditional scroll complete with dual rollers, matching the storytelling motifs of the Phantom World.
