Risk of Pakistan splitting into three – Imran Khan controversy speech | Pakistan risks splitting into three

Islamabad,

The Imran Khan-led regime in Pakistan was overthrown by a no-confidence motion brought by the opposition. Following this, Shahbaz Sharif, the leader of the Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) party, became the new Prime Minister of Pakistan. Imran Khan has insisted that his government has been overthrown by a foreign power and that an immediate general election should be held.

He regularly participates in public meetings and rallies support. But the United States and the current Pakistani government have denied the allegations. Police also arrested more than 100 Imran Khan supporters who were planning to stage a protest against the Pakistani government. Imran Khan strongly condemned the move, accusing the Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) of carrying out fascist activities since it came to power.

In this context, Imran Khan, in an interview with a private television company in Pakistan, said that there are many problems in the administrative structure of Pakistan. He said that if the administration did not take the right decisions, it would face catastrophic destruction and the country’s army would be the first to suffer.

He also said that Pakistan would be divided into three parts. He warned that if the country’s economy suffered, Pakistan would lose its nuclear arsenal due to world pressure, as happened in Ukraine in the 1990s.

Many of the country’s leaders have strongly opposed Imran Khan’s comments. Former Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari has said that no Pakistani will talk about partitioning Pakistan and that Imran Khan’s speech is not like that of a real Pakistani.
