Riyadh: Saudi Foreign Minister Amir Faisal bin Farhan and Qatari Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdurrahman Al Thani met on Monday. The two leaders discussed ways to strengthen ties and enhance cooperation between the two countries.
All avenues for maintaining regional stability and international peace and security were discussed. Efforts to improve bilateral coordination in the political, security and economic spheres were also discussed. The meeting was part of the 152nd Ministerial Conference of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
The ministers also exchanged views on the latest regional and international developments. At a ministerial meeting in Riyadh on Wednesday, Emir Faisal bin Farhan said that the Gulf states were united in the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
