The meeting of the district secretaries was held on Thursday at the Temujin office in Coimbatore. The meeting was chaired by Treasurer Premalatha. The next steps of the party were discussed at the meeting.
Resolutions passed at the meeting:
The knitting industry has been hit hard by the rise in yarn prices. The price of yarn has skyrocketed due to the hoarding of brokers and employers. Many factories are in danger of closing. But it is reprehensible that the central and state governments are acting as if they have not seen it.
DMK government means power cut. Industries, including agriculture, have been hit hard by the unannounced power outage. The Government of Tamil Nadu should take action on a policy basis to save the people from power cuts.
The Sri Lankan government continues to cause loss of life and property to Tamil Nadu fishermen. This is the right moment to reclaim Kachchadi from Sri Lanka. The Central Government should be given due pressure and Kachchhati should be restored.
Disadvantages were passed, including the need to take action to reduce petrol and diesel prices.
