The Israeli summer is already here, and it is not going to disappear in the coming months. Beachwear blends in with them without us feeling comfortable with the everyday wardrobe, becoming an integral part of the fashionable menu. The erupting colors, the textures that cling tightly and lovingly to the body, and the endless feeling of freedom – all of these are currently fueling the panic for surfers’ fashion, the one that shouts, but really without effort – “Pan, Pan, Pan”.
So what do we have here besides the obvious scenery of wind-blowing hair in scorched tones, skin that the sun has kissed, and lips bitten by a salty burn? Stunning prints from the romantic to the psychedelic worlds, contrasting textures, transparency and volume games, and of course – an intuitive mix of sporting influences and Y2K.
Specific items worth paying attention to? Shorts, tiny tops that really do not matter if they are actually a top of a swimsuit, ‘dad’ and ‘grandpa’ shirts with buttons that are worn open or tied, and the required accessories – sunglasses, colorful beaded jewelry and bucket hats. Shenkar School of Styling students took line 5 to the sea, and came back with great inspirations that are fun to stick to, and also really easy to embrace.
