The WhatsApp feature that allows deleting messages sent in groups or conversations has become very popular since its launch, and may have more than once prevented significant embarrassment for users. However, it is likely that at least once you have encountered a situation where you regretted deleting a particular message. Now, it turns out that WhatsApp is working on a solution to this problem as well, according to a report on the WABetaInfo blog.
According to the publication, after deleting a message – a button called UNDO will appear on the screen, for a few seconds, allowing the deletion to be canceled. It is still unclear when the new (and quite requested) update will reach iOS and Android users worldwide, and it is currently only available in beta versions of the app.
Most joining another requested development, which the company announced earlier this week, is the option to edit the messages you send. This will be possible without leaving any trace of it.
