The heads of the Binyamin, Beit El, Kiryat Arba and Kedumim authorities issued a letter in which they clarified that they support the opposition’s position to oppose any coalition law, against the background of the non-passage of Judea and Samaria regulations.
“We, the heads of the authorities in Judea and Samaria, are aware that the government of Israel, in partnership with the RAAM, is a bad government for the people of Israel and for settlement in Judea and Samaria.
We recognize that in the short term, failure to pass emergency regulations in the matter of Judea and Samaria could harm us, the settlers of Judea and Samaria.
However – the continued existence of the government will continue the damage to settlement both in the short and long term.
“We call on members of the right and a new hope to leave the government and strengthen the opposition in opposition to all government laws. A right-wing government must be formed now and the legislation passed immediately.”
This letter comes after yesterday 7 heads of central authorities in Judea and Samaria published a letter demanding that all Zionist parties renew the Judea and Samaria law: “We ask and demand not to turn our lives into chaos and prevent the severe damage to the lives of our 500,000 residents.”
