SEGA announced today (6/3) in the “SEGA New Project Announcement Live Broadcast (セガ新プロジェクトェクト発 Watching Broadcast)” that it will launch a mini replica of the 16-bit host “Mega Drive” revision model “Mega Drive 2” on October 27 Version “Mega Drive Mini 2”.
“Mega Drive Mini 2” is the successor to the mini-replica console “Mega Drive Mini” launched in September 2019. It fully reproduces the shape of the modified version of Mega Drive “Mega Drive 2” in a reduced size. It is scheduled to include 50 models. Games from the Mega Drive and its first-ever addition to the Mega-CD, paired with a 6-button controller for fighting games, allow players to relive the fun of classic games in the latest audiovisual environment.
The live broadcast is still in progress, and more information will be released gradually.
“Mega Drive Mini 2” is scheduled to be launched on October 27, with a tax-free price of 9,980 yen.
