by time news

Jean-Loup Izambert and Claude Janvier, the two authors of the survey “The Virus and the President” published in December 2020, have resumed writing after another year spent under the Covid-19 crisis. While recent events (conflict in Ukraine, election, etc.) and the approach of summer seem to have temporarily relegated the health issue to the background, they are taking stock.

Investigative journalist and writer, they are thus risking a new opus on the subject, trying to give it a more synthetic and understandable flavor.

We received them in a debriefing so that they presented their approach and their thinking: how does this book stand out from the many other books on the health crisis? The two authors attempt a new interpretation, evoke new scandals, address the geopolitical aspect of Covid-19, thus providing answers to the questions that the French are asking.

This new title will stand alongside the 300 other works referenced on the Covid-19, but will it be able to pull out of the game and join the bestsellers of Pr Perronne (more than 100,000 copies) or those of Pr Raoult ?
