The change comes amid Walmart’s competition with online retail giant Amazon, which has made it easier for customers with prime companies to order a wide range of items and receive them within a day or two, as part of Walmart’s attempt to prove the efficiency of the new delivery system. According to the company, the new centers to be built are expected to significantly facilitate the work of the workers and will be based mainly on vending machines.
