Indian student wins Spell Bee competition

Houston: Spell Bee competitions have been held in the United States since 1925. Not held in 2020 due to corona. 209 people participated in the 2021 competition which was conducted through video. Meanwhile, the Spell Bee competitions for the year 2022 took place yesterday. In it, Harini Logan, an 8th grader of Indian descent living in Texas, won the degree by answering 21 of 26 words correctly. Vikram Raju, a 12 – year – old boy of Indian descent living in Denver, came in second with a correct answer of 15 for 19 words. Wigan Sibal, a 13-year-old Texas student, and Sakarsh Uppala, an 8th grader from Washington, placed 3rd and 4th, respectively.
