He recently banned work-from-home at Tesla and is currently sending an email to executives urging them to cut 10%. He said employees who continue to work as if they were at home without returning to the offices after his order should look for work elsewhere. As a result, Tesla employs about 1 lakh people worldwide, of which 10,000 are currently losing their jobs. Earlier, Elon Musk had warned that all employees working from home should return to work immediately and work at least 40 hours a week so that those who fail can leave work.
