Rabat – After his party’s victory in the general election, businessman Aziz Akhannouch is from King Mohammed VI. has been appointed the new Moroccan head of government. The monarch received Akhannouch on Friday and instructed him to form a new government, the palace announced. Akhannouch’s Independent National Assembly (RNI) party won 102 of 395 seats, making it the strongest force in Wednesday’s election.
