Thiruvananthapuram: Kovid has confirmed 1,544 cases in the state. The test positivity rate is 11.39%. 4 Kovid deaths also confirmed. 13,558 samples were sent for testing. Earlier, the Union Health Ministry had warned that Kovid cases were on the rise in all the 11 districts of Kerala and the government should take strong action.
According to the Centre’s letter, Kovid cases are on the rise in all the districts except Palakkad, Kasargod and Thrissur. He also directed that the guidelines issued by the Center to prevent Kovid cases should be strictly followed. Apart from Kerala, the Center has directed Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Telangana and Maharashtra.
