The body of a man with signs of violence found in Lachine

(Montreal) The body of a man was discovered Friday in the garage of a residence in the Lachine area of ​​Montreal.

Police officers from the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) made the macabre discovery by going to a property on Rathwell Street, at the corner of 30^e avenue.

“They discovered a lifeless individual in the residence”, indicated the spokesperson of the SPVM Jessica Lalonde before specifying that “marks of violence had been found on the body”.

An investigation is underway and no suspect was arrested on Friday evening.

A security perimeter has been erected in the area.
