Qatar: The Ministry of Labor in Qatar has introduced four new e-services, including recruitment applications for temporary work visas. Visas can be applied for online. Recruitment applications from government agencies can be approved automatically if they meet the automation requirements. With the advent of the new system, the procedures for obtaining a visa will be reduced.

This will help speed up visa services and ensure efficiency. It is part of the digital transformation of the country. It is part of the Ministry’s decision to make more services e-services. There are currently 47 e-services currently available to the public through the Ministry’s website.

New e-Services of the Ministry of Labor

1. Recruitment Applications for Obtaining Temporary Work Visas- This is a visa issued by the Ministry for permission to temporarily recruit workers for the country.

2. Labor Recruitment Applications for Government-Semi-Government Institutions – Permission can be sought from Government-Semi-Government Institutions which are able to come to the country, work and recruit workers from other foreign countries.

3. .Government Contracting Service- This is a company contract with a government agency that owns the project to carry out a project. This is a service for adding government contracts to the Establishment Registry of Companies.

4. Labor Recruitment for Qatar Financial Center Companies – This is for submitting applications for permission to recruit workers.
