The woman who went missing in Rouen after the violent storms that hit the city on Saturday June 4 has been found dead, France Bleu Normandie has learned.

The 30-year-old victim was found on Saturday evening under a car on rue Verte, in the north of the city. She was carried away by the water before ending up under the vehicle. The exact circumstances of his death remain to be clarified. His disappearance had been announced by Gérald Darmanin around 8:45 p.m.

The municipality of Rouen also confirmed the death of this woman. The city, like a large part of France, was hit by violent thunderstorms which caused heavy rain on Saturday afternoon and early evening.
