Mass heroes to save Kamal, Vikram? – Dinamani

by time news

In any language cinema it is customary to cast people who are slightly less than the protagonist’s appearance and fame as villains (with a few exceptions)

However, in recent times the trend has been slowly changing globally. Works that build the villain larger than the protagonist and create justification for him are greatly appreciated.

Although the protagonist wins, one can see the support given by some with the notion that the villain is degraded by society.

The reason for this, movie critics say, is that admiring the opposite character, despite our tastes, is a kind of mood swings.

No need to go to world cinema. Recently released Malayalam movie ‘Minnal Murali’ which was well received. Local superhero Tovino Thomas is a story that saves people, but it is surprising that for a long time, most of the comments about the film featured the villain Guru Somasundaram. Many had come to the conclusion that Ivan was the real protagonist of the film, holding on to the single point of ‘community degraded’ mentioned above.

‘Vikram’ has become an army of villains who have deviated a bit without the same style as Kamal Haasan, Fahadh Basil, Vijay Sethupathi and Surya. Although it is a good attempt to have so many heroes, the question arises as to whether this is a film for change or just a business ploy.

In a recent interview, actor Kamal Haasan said, ‘Vikram is an attempt. MGR – Shivaji, I – Rajini have all acted together. That environment must be created for the next generation, ‘he said, adding that he liked the film.

Director Lokesh Kanagaraj said, “Kamal did not see the scenes being edited during the filming.”

Who knows world cinema, who has changed the language of local cinema, who has made a great contribution to the world of Tamil cinema. With so few protagonists in the film, Vikram seems to be a purely business-oriented film.

Vikram’s emergence without any longing for the new screen experience that Kamal has created is somehow a shock to his ardent fans.

At the same time, it was a good move to give more space to other young actors without exaggerating his image.

Vikram has done a ‘role model’ role in the film ‘RRR’ in which Junior NDR and Ram Charan’s alliance can try to make a big splash in Tamil cinema as well. It is not because of Vijay Sethupathi or Fahad Fazil. It’s Surya. Compared to them, Surya has a better market than Kamal.

The whole story must have been due to him acting as a terrible villain. But, there are no such highlights in the released film. Easily predictable scenarios.

Kamal Haasan agreed because he was there to accept it all and act. If Vijay or Ajith were in the same place then perhaps Vikram’s success would have determined whether Surya would have acted and been cast by ‘them’.

Definitely compliments if this film does that job. It remains to be seen whether change will occur or whether this is a regular business …
