A short time ago (Sunday), firefighters from the Haifa station, under the command of Lahav Yossi Cohen, rescued three people who were trapped in their vehicles in a frontal car accident between two vehicles on a bridge at the Krayot Interchange in Haifa.
Three people were injured in the accident, two lightly and one moderately, and police traffic inspectors began investigating the circumstances of the accident. According to evidence, one of the drivers was apparently driving in the opposite direction of traffic, and the issue is under investigation.
The team commander, Major Rod Fox, recounts: “We arrived at the scene of the accident right on the bridge, when we noticed a number trapped inside the vehicles. We started with rapid rescue operations and assistance to MDA, and while more firefighters arrived and rescued more casualties. “
