Less than a month after the successful performances of Maroon 5 in Israel, Live Nation announces the appearance of the beloved band One Republic in Israel. The show in Israel will open a tour that includes Saudi Arabia, South Africa and Dubai and is a direct continuation of the cooperation moves between Live Nation companies operating in the Middle East, as part of which, as mentioned, Maroon 5 arrived in Israel. The show will take place at Live Park in Rishon Lezion on November 8, 2022.

Some history about the band
One Republic has six members who went on a long journey on the road to success that came in 2007 after the well-known producer Timland produced with them the successful song APOLOGIZE. Which was the first single from their debut album DREAMING OUT LOUD. The single reached the top of the charts in 16 countries and won what was at the time the largest number of broadcasts on radio stations with about 10,000 plays a week.
From then until today they do not rest for a moment, suffice it to mention that at the beginning of the year the band released the single West Cost which became a hit on radio stations in Israel and last month took part in the soundtrack of the movie “Love in the Sky / Maverick” with Tom Cruise with the song I Ain’t Worried Greatest in the world.
The band released their debut album, “Dreaming Out Loud”, on November 20, 2007. The album has sold over 2 million copies worldwide. A week after the release of the album, the second single from it, “Stop and Stare”, was released, which also reached the top of the charts with a number of downloads of over two million.
The second album, “Waking Up”, was released in November 2009. The album reached number 21 on the Billboard charts with over 300,000 sales in the United States. Out of that, the single “All the Right Moves” was released and reached number eighteen on the Billboard charts. The second single from the album is called “Secrets”.
Subsequently, “Marchin On” which was a collaboration with Timland was selected as the official song of the 2010 World Cup. The band’s third album, “Native”, was released in March 2013. The album was ranked 4th on the Billboard charts. The most successful single from this album is “Counting Stars” which was released in May of that year, and was a worldwide success.

The song reached number two on the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States and was a success in a number of other notable countries, such as: Canada, Israel, and the United Kingdom. The album featured many other well-known songs such as, “If I Lose Myself” which reached number 10 in Austria, Germany, Poland, Slovakia, Sweden and Switzerland, “Feel Again”, “Love Runs Out”, “I Lived” and more.
The fourth album, “Oh My My” in October 2016. The album was a success and reached number 3 on the Billboard 200 album chart. From the album came the singles “Wherever I Go” and “Kids” from the album came two more songs “Future Looks Good” in collaboration With Peter Gabriel.
In addition, the band’s lead singer Teder has been writing for over 10 years and has managed to work with the best artists today, including Beyonce, Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez and many others. But when he writes for the band, he takes a different approach than usual, a stronger and more interesting approach, he claims. He even adds that these songs are more personally tailored to him and the band, he writes each one as if it was the last song he would write, so he knows he needs to write in the best way.
As you may recall, in 2015, they performed in Israel and expressed on stage their great love for Israel: “We love good people – and you are good people.”
