More than 30 top-level sessions in the Organic Food & Eco Living Iberia 2022 seminar program | The Wine Week

Organic Food & Eco Living Iberia is preparing to open its doors at IFEMA MADRID on June 8 and 9. In total, the event’s attractive seminar program will have more than 30 sessions, in which everything relevant to a sector that is constantly growing and with even better development prospects will be discussed.

The three stages, Organic Food TALKS Theatre, The Eco Living TALKS Theater and Organic Wine TALKS Theatre, will show novelties, trends and relevant topics for reflection in free sessions that will feature some of the best brands in the sector, including Ecovalia, Agrobio, FIAB, Asociación Vida Sana, Sol Natural and many more. The program of talks will complement the exhibition activity of the show, and the content of the sessions will provide professionals from all over Spain with the essential trends in the sector and the latest knowledge on organic food, natural cosmetics and sustainability in Europe.

First sessions: X-ray of the sector

Marketing and logistics, the future

For the second day of presentations, key aspects of ecological activity will be put on the table, beginning with a session on ‘greenwashing’ by the Vida Sana Association. Organic Food & Eco Living Iberia 2022 will pay special attention to how to distinguish and promote marketing for the organic sector against dishonest advertising practices that pretend to dress as sustainable economic activities that are not. For that, efficient and effective communication policies, with ecological regulation as a guarantee certificate, something that the head of Communication at Ecovalia will talk about together with journalists from the EFE agency and Onda Cero.

In addition, there will also be space to talk about logistics, and global markets, about how the organic sector is on the way to setting up an alternative international value chain to conventional global trade flows. Ecovalia and EncajaBio will talk about design, sustainability, certification and ecological guarantee in packaging, while Belgium will talk about the situation of the organic sector in central Europe. Finally, a round table with the participation of the Inter-American Commission on Organic Agriculture together with spokespersons from the sector in Brazil and Argentina will show the accelerated development of sustainable production on the other side of the pond.
