A demonstration against the suspension of 60 agents “for incomplete vaccination schedule” scheduled for Tuesday at Montauban hospital

” Enough is enough “. Anger boils within the CGT of the Montauban hospital center (Tarn-et-Garonne). In a press release that FranceSoir was able to consult, the trade union organization announces that the management of the hospital has suspended around sixty public hospital service workers “for incomplete vaccination schedule”, a decision which it qualifies as “authoritarian” and “arbitrary” with regard to health professionals “who took all the risks to deal with covid”.

“We denounce the attitude of our management which, instead of helping us to work better, punishes us and worsens our working conditions. What will be the consequences of these suspensions? What will become of the patients in our services? Are wards/beds going to be closed due to a “shortage” of agents? Will we have to give up our annual leave to deal with the lack of staff? Too much is too much,” fulminates the union organization, which specifies: “Unsurprisingly, it is already circulating that a fourth dose would be imposed on us during the fall”.

To protest against this decision, the CGT calls on all the staff of the Montauban hospital to demand the reinstatement of their suspended colleagues by mobilizing this Tuesday, June 7 at 10 a.m.

She concludes her press release by emphasizing that “this kind of decision contributes to the destruction of the public hospital service”.
